Places to Visit Near Triund

Since Triund is just 3 kms from Mcleodganj which is a larger center than Triund, all the tourist attractions are better visited from Mcleodganj.

Bhagsu Waterfall (6.5 kms from Mcleodganj)

Bhagsu Waterfall is one of the famous tourist destinations here and it is located on the main road which connects Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. The fall starts at the foot of Dhauladhar Valley which is a religious spot. Another prime tourist attraction here is the popular Bhagsunath Temple.

Namgyal Monastery (5 kms from Mcleodganj)

Namgyal Monastery is believed to be the residence of the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama outside of Tibet. It is also referred to as Dalai Lama's Temple. If Buddhist preaching, value, and traditions intrigue you, this place may widen your knowledge about the subject.
